Kutjevois a town in easternCroatia.It is located in theSlavoniaregion, northeast of town ofPožega.
History
[edit]Kutjevo is known for its wines, and the local agricultural joint stock company Kutjevo d.d.[3][4]is the largest exporter of wines inCroatia.[5]There are numerous winegrowers residing in Kutjevo, like Enjingi and Krauthaker.[6][7][8]
Population
[edit]The 2011 census showed there were 6,247 people in the municipality and 2,440 in the town itself, with 95% of the population declaring themselvesCroats.[9][10]

[edit]Directly elected minority councils and representatives are tasked with consulting tasks for the local or regional authorities in which they are advocating for minority rights and interests, integration into public life and participation in the management of local affairs.[11]At the2023 Croatian national minorities councils and representatives electionsSerbs of Croatiafulfilled legal requirements to elect 15 members minority council of the Town of Kutjevo but the elections were not held due to the lack of candidates.[12]
