Kyle Eric Hill(born April 7, 1979) is an American retired professionalbasketballplayer. He was picked by theDallas Mavericksin the2001 NBA draftwith the 44th overall draft pick. Hill'sNBArights were then traded by the Mavericks shortly after the draft to theHouston Rockets.Hill ended up never playing in an NBA game and is 1 of 8 players from the 2001 NBA Draft that never played a game in the league.

Hill attended and played basketball atArgo Community High SchoolinSummit, Illinois.He playedcollege basketballatEastern Illinois University.

Pro career

After being selected in the2001 NBA draft,Hill immediately went to Europe and signed with the French teamASVEL,where he played in theEuroleaguewithNikola Vujčić,where he averaged 13.4 points per game and won the French Cup.

Hill next moved to another French clubPau-Orthez,where he recorded 9.5 points per game in 25 minutes per game. He then played briefly withAEK Athensin Greece, and then withLauretana Biellain Italy during the 2003–04 season. He followed that with an excellent season with the Croatian clubKK Zadar.

After Zadar, he moved to the Italian clubSnaidero Udine,where he played well and averaged more than 15 points per game during the 2005–06 season. Soon after that he moved to the Spanish teamGirona,but an injury that he suffered to hisachilles tendonprevented him from playing much. During the 2007–08 season, Hill played five games withKK BosnafromSarajevoand he then returned to Udine. He finished the season playing with Snaidero Udine, where he formed one half of the same dynamic duo along withJerome Allenfor the team, and was once again coached by Cesare Pancotto, just like in the 2005–06 season.

On March 1, 2010, Hill signed a contract withHemofarm Vršacfrom Serbia. Later, on 2012, Hill signs forAguas de Sousas OurenseofLEB Plata,Spanish third division.

Coaching career
