Landen River Lewis(born February 26, 2006) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes part-time in theARCA Menards SeriesandARCA Menards Series East,driving the No. 97ChevroletforCR7 Motorsports.
Racing career

[edit]Go-karts
[edit]Lewis started his career in Go-Karts at the age of 4 and from 2010-2018 he picked up 150 wins, a Maxx Nationals win, 4 Maxx Jr Daddy championships as well as 4 Maxx Daddy championships.
Dirt Modifieds
[edit]In 2018 he started racing Dirt Modifieds picking up 6 wins, 8 poles, 15 top 5’s, and 26 top 10’s and the Most Popular Driver Award for the Mid-East Dirt Modified Series.
Legend cars
[edit]In 2019, he joined Joe Ryan Cars in Legend Cars and won the Winter Nationals in only his 2nd ever start. He would remain with the team to present day, picking up 15 wins in 2020 along with a Dirt Nationals championship, picking up the Dirt Nationals, Asphalt Nationals, Winter Nationals, Road Course World Finals championships as well as the North Carolina State Championship in 2021, and in 2022 picking up the Road Course National Championship and the Summer Shootout, Road Course World Finals, and Winter Nationals titles for the Pro Division.
ARCA Menards Series

[edit]Lewis made hisARCA Menards Seriesdebut in2021running three races. He debuted in theAllen Crowe 100at theIllinois State Fairgrounds Racetrackdriving forRette Jones Racingin collaboration withRev RacingandAustin Theriault,finishing 7th.[1]In his second career start, in theSouthern Illinois 100at theDuQuoin State Fairgrounds Racetrack,Lewis won the pole. He dominated the race, leading all 104 laps en route to his first career victory.[2]He ran one more race, theSioux Chief PowerPEX 200atSalem Speedway,finishing 13th.[3][4]
2022
[edit]Lewis would make 8 starts in theARCA Menards Series Westin2022across the No. 42 car forCook Racing Technologies,No. 17 car forMcGowan Motorsports,and the No. 16 car forMcAnally-Hilgemann Racing.He would pick up 1 win of the year in his first start of the season atKern County.
2023
[edit]In2023Lewis would make a full-time run at theARCA Menards Series Westchampionship in the No. 17 forMcGowan Motorsports.He would start off his season by finishing 2nd the first 3 races and then winning the next race atPortlandfending offNASCAR Xfinity SeriesregularCole Custer.
ARCA Menards Series West
[edit]Lewis made hisARCA Menards Series Westdebut in2022in theSalute to the Oil Industry NAPA Auto Parts 150atKern County Raceway Parkdriving the No. 42ChevroletforCook Racing Technologies.Lewis took the lead late in the race and collected his first career ARCA Menards Series West victory in his first ever start.[5]He would run the race atSonoma RacewayforMcGowan Motorsportsbefore replacingAustin Herzogin the No. 16 forBill McAnally Racingfor the final six races of the year.[6]
ARCA Menards Series East
[edit]Lewis made hisARCA Menards Series Eastdebut in2023in theGeneral Tire 125atDover Motor Speedwaydriving the No. 17ToyotaforMcGowan Motorsports.He would go on to finish second behind race winnerJake Finch.[7]
NASCAR Truck Series
[edit]On June 24, 2023, Lewis posted on social media a picture of the No. 04Roper Racingtruck with his name above the window net, indicating that he would make his debut in the series for the team at some point during the season.[8]He ran races for the team atMid-OhioandIRP.
