Lassana CamaráCvIH[2](born 29 December 1991), commonly known asSaná,is a Bissau-Guineanfootballerwho plays as acentral midfielder.He also holdsPortuguese citizenship.
Club career[edit]
Born inBissau,Guinea Bissau, Saná spent four years inS.L. Benfica's academy, scoring two goals in 33 games in his last year as ajunior.He started his professional career atServette FCinSwitzerland:having arrived injured from the2010 UEFA European Under-19 Championship,he only returned to competition in January 2011, and played just 257 minutes in thesecond divisioncampaign as theJoão Alves-led side – a former Benfica player and also his youth manager – attainedSuper Leaguepromotion.
Saná signed a three-year contract withReal Valladolidin Spain on 9 July 2011.[3]At the end of hisfirst and only seasonthe team promoted toLa Ligaafter a two-year absence, but he only totalled 33 minutes of action and was released after several problems with the management and the board of directors.[4][5]
On 30 August 2014, after nearly two years without a club and a brief spell in Brazil, Saná joinedS.C. Braga,being assigned tothe reservesin theSegunda Liga.[6]He remained in that tier the following years, being rarely played atAcadémico de Viseu F.C.andLeixões SC.[7]
Saná moved toSCM Gloria Buzăuof the RomanianLiga IIIin late January 2019.[8]
International career[edit]
Saná won 51capsforPortugalat youth level, including 13 forthe under-20s.He helped them reach the final at the2011 FIFA World Cup,[9]appearing in three matches.[10]
Saná switched allegiance toGuinea Bissauin 2014, making his debut on 2 August by playing 59 minutes in a 1–1 home draw againstBotswanafor the2015 Africa Cup of Nationsqualifiers.[11]
