Laura Jane Silverman(born June 10, 1966) is an American actress and the older sister of actress and comedianSarah Silverman.[1][2][3][4]She acted inSarah Silverman: Jesus Is MagicandThe Sarah Silverman Programportraying a fictionalized version of herself. Silverman was born to Beth Ann O'Hara[5][6]and Donald Silverman. Her parents divorced and each remarried (to John O'Hara and Janice, respectively).[7]She has three sisters: screenwriterJodyne Silverman,comedianSarah Silverman,and RabbiSusan Silverman.[7][8]Her brother Jeffrey Michael died when he was 3 months old.[9]Their family isJewish.
