Lisa Laetitia Westerhof(born 2 November 1981, inDe Bilt) is asailorfrom theNetherlands.[1][2][3]Westerhof represented her country at theOptimist World Championshipin 1995 and 1996, becoming only the second girl to win the championship outright.
She sailed at the2004 Summer OlympicsinAthens.With crewMargriet Matthijssetook Westerhof ninth place as helmsman in the DutchWomen's 470.[4][5][6]Westerhof's second Olympic appearance was during the2012 OlympicsinWeymouthagain as helmsman in theWomen's 470.[7][8][9]Now withLobke Berkhoutas crew Westerhof won the bronze medal.
Professional life
[edit]Westerhof lives inScheveningen,studied economics at theErasmus UniversityinRotterdam,and is a First Officer on the Boeing 737 forAir France KLM.[10]
