TheLola T92/00is a highly successfulopen-wheel racing carchassis, designed and built byLola Carsthat competed in theCARTopen-wheel racingseries, for competition in the1992 IndyCar season.It was extremely competitive, winning 10 out of the 16 races that season, and clinching 14 total pole positions, including the opening round inAustralia,and the specialMarlboro Challengeevent atNazareth.It was mainly powered by the 800–850 hp (600–630 kW)Ford/Cosworth XB turbo engine,but some also used theIlmor-Chevrolet 265-A V8 turbo engine,or theBuick Indy V6 turbo enginewith this chassis. It poweredBobby Rahalto his third and final IndyCar World Drivers' Championship.[1][2][3][4][5]
A total of 26 chassis were manufactured andNewman/Haas Racingowned 5.[6]
