Lotononisis a genus offlowering plantsin the familyFabaceaeand the tribeCrotalarieae.The genus includes 99 species of annual and perennial herbs, native to the southeastern Europe (Greece and Bulgaria) and Turkey, eastern Africa (Ethiopia to Malawi), and southern Africa (Angola and Zimbabwe to South Africa).[1]

Several species were recently transferred fromLotononisto four new or restored genera (Euchlora,Ezoloba,Leobordea,andListia).[2]The species retained inLotononisare:[2][3][4]
