Composition

The song was written by Pink,Allen Shamblin,andTom Douglas.It runs for three minutes and nine seconds and was produced by Sal Oliveri and Simon Gooding. Strings were arranged, recorded and performed byStevie Blacke.

The song was officially released tocountry radioon September 17, 2019, after already charting on theBillboardCountry Airplaychart in May and June 2019.[1]

Commercial performance

"Love Me Anyway" reached No. 20 on theBillboardAdult Top 40 chart.[2]The song had sold 171,000 copies in the United States as of December 2019.[3]

"Love Me Anyway" was performed atMadison Square Gardenby Pink and Chris Stapleton on May 22, 2019.[citation needed]

On November 13, 2019, Pink and Stapleton performed the song at the53rd Annual Country Music Association Awards.[4]
