Lucim[ˈlut͡ɕim]is a village in the administrative district ofGmina Koronowo,withinBydgoszcz County,Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship,in north-central Poland.[1]It lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) north-west ofKoronowoand 32 km (20 mi) north ofBydgoszcz.It is located in the region ofKrajna.
History
[edit]Lucim was a private church village administratively located in the Nakło County in theKalisz Voivodeshipin theGreater Poland Provinceof the Kingdom of Poland.[2]
During theGerman occupation of Poland(World War II), inhabitants of Lucim were among the victims of a massacre ofPolescommitted by the GermanSelbstschutzin nearbyJastrzębiein January 1940.[3]
