Mario Barco Vilar(born 23 December 1992) is a Spanish professionalfootballerwho plays as astrikerforI-LeagueclubInter Kashi.

Club career

Born inEstella-Lizarra,Navarre,Barco finished his formation withCD Calahorra,after representingPeña Sport FCandAthletic Bilbao.[1]He made his senior debuts with the former in the 2011–12 campaign, scoring 20 goals inTercera División.

In August 2012 Barco signed forUD LogroñésinSegunda División B,after impressing in a trial basis.[2]On 10 July of the following year he returned to theLions,being assigned tothe reservesalso in the third level.[3][4]

On 28 January 2015 Barco rescinded his contract,[5]and moved to fellow league teamBarakaldo CFhours later.[6]On 5 July he signed a three-year deal withCD LugoinSegunda División,[7]but was loaned toUD Somozason 10 August.[8]

On 8 August 2016 Barco joinedPontevedra CFin the third tier, also in a temporary deal.[9]He scored 12 goals for the club duringthe campaign,but missedthe play-offsdue to injury.

Barco made his professional debut on 12 October 2017, coming on as asubstituteforFrancisco Fydriszewskiand scoring the last in a 2–0 home win againstCórdoba CF.[10]The following 25 June, he signed a three-year contract withCádiz CFalso in the second division.[11]

On 23 July 2019, after being rarely used, Barco terminated his contract with theAndalusians,[12]and joined fellow second division sideCD Mirandéson a two-year deal the following day.[13]After two years used mainly as a substitute, he moved toPrimera División RFEFsideCD Castellónon 21 July 2021.[14]

On 8 September 2023, Barco signed for newly formedI-LeagueclubInter Kashi[15]
