Born inSétif,Algeria and of Italian origin, he mostly played forOlympique de Marseille.He was in the roster for the1938 FIFA World Cup;never appeared. Hecapped(scored 1 goal) forFrancein 1939. He later managedOlympique de Marseillein the 1970s and won oneLigue 1andCoupe de Francein 1972.[1]
He died inSainte-Maxime,Var,French Riviera,at 91 years old.[2]
