TheMarshyangdi(orMarsyangdi) (Nepali:मर्स्याङ्दी,marśyāṅdī) is a mountain river inNepal.Its length is about 150 kilometres.
The Marshyangdi begins at the confluence of two mountain rivers, the Khangsar Khola and the Jharsang Khola, northwest of theAnnapurnamassifat an altitude of 3,600 meters nearManangvillage. The Marshyangdi flows eastward throughManang Districtand then southward throughLamjung District.[citation needed]
The Marshyangdi joins theTrishuliriver nearMuglingas one of its tributaries.[citation needed]
The beginning of theAnnapurna Circuittrekking route follows the Marshyangdi river valley.[citation needed]
