Matthias of Jerusalem(died 120 AD) was a 2nd-centuryChristian saintand aBishop of Jerusalem,whose episcopacy was about 113–120AD.

Matthew was probably bishop for few years after Tobias until 120.^[1]^[2]During his episcopacy, he dealt with a troubled political situation due toRomanpersecution ofChristiansand aJewishuprising.^[3]According toEusebius of Caesareahe was aJewish Christian.^[4]He was persecuted by EmperorHadrian(117–138), but died peacefully about 120AD.^[5]
