Matthijs Harings
Matthijs Harings(1593 inLeeuwarden– 1667 in Leeuwarden),[citation needed]was aDutch Golden Ageportrait painter.
According toArnold Houbraken,he was a goodportrait painterwho caught theexpressionsof his subjects well.[1] According to theNetherlands Institute for Art History,his portraits are sometimes confused with works byWybrand de Geest.[2]
