Max Valieris a 15 kg (33 lb) X-ray telescopic satellite which was built in a collaboration by the Gewerbeoberschule "Max Valier" inBozen,the Gewerbeoberschule "Oskar von Miller" inMeranand the Amateurastronomen "Max Valier". TheMax Planck Institute for Astrophysicsprovides the smallX-ray telescopeμRosi, which allowsamateur astronomersfor the first time to see the sky in X-ray wavelength. It was launched with the help of theOHBin Germany by an IndianPSLV-C38 rocket on June 23, 2017.[1][2]
