InIrish mythology,Medb Lethderg(Old Irish pronunciation:[ˌmʲeðvˈlʲeθðʲerɡ];Modern Irish:Méabh Leathdhearg[ˌmʲeːwˈlʲaˌjaɾˠəɡ];"red-side" ) was agoddess of sovereigntyassociated withTara.She was the wife or lover of nine successive kings, includingFedlimid Rechtmar,Art mac CuinnandCormac mac Airt.She is associated withRath Meave,south of theHill of Tara.

She has been identified with or considered the inspiration forMedbof theConnachtain theUlster Cycle.[1]

The poem "Macc Moga Corbb celas clú"in theBook of Leinsteris ascribed to her.
