She was elected to theTasmanian House of Assemblyfor theLabor Partyin theDivision of Franklinat the2024 state election.[2]Brown is the niece of Tasmanian SenatorCarol Brownand the cousin of former Legislative CouncillorAllison Ritchie.Prior to her election to parliament, Brown was a hairdresser and electorate officer for Labor-turned-independent MP,David O'Byrne.
