Megan Ann Signal(born 17 February 1990) is a New Zealandweightlifterwho qualified for the2020 Summer Olympicsin the women's 76 kg category.[1]

Career[edit]

Signal began weightlifting in 2013 at the FS Olympic Weightlifting Club in Auckland, New Zealand,[2]which she attributed to herCrossFitinterest. She holds twoOceaniarecords in the 71 kg class[3]and won medals at the 2019 Pacific Games and Oceania Weightlifting Championships.[4]

She withdrew from theTokyo Olympicswithout competing, due to a shoulder injury.[5]
