Mesuais a genus offlowering plantsin thefamilyCalophyllaceae,[1]native to tropical southernAsia.Common names includeironwood(shared with many other plants) and rose chestnut.
They areevergreenshrubsor smalltreesgrowing to 13 m tall, with leaves arranged in opposite pairs.
