Mount Maidu is located southwest ofMount Tehama,northwest ofLake Almanor,and north ofChico, California.

Geology

Mount Maidu is one of the severalstratovolcanoesthat surround the modernLassen Peak.[2]It hasrhyolitelava domes on its northern flank.[1]
