NBA Clutch Player of the Year

TheNBA Clutch Player of the Yearis an award given to aNational Basketball Association(NBA) player who "best comes through for his teammates in theclutch"in the regular season. The winner receives theJerry West Trophy.[1]The trophy is named afterJerry West,who had a reputation of being a clutch player when he played for theLos Angeles Lakersfor his entire career from 1960 to 1974.[2][3]The award debuted for the2022–23 season,and players are voted on by a media panel based on nominations from NBA head coaches.[1][4]
