NGC 1893is anopen clusterin the constellationAuriga.It is about 12,400 light years away. The star cluster is embedded in the Tadpole Nebula (HII regionIC 410).[5]

Images of the star cluster by theChandra X-ray Observatorysuggest that it contains approximately 4,600young stellar objects.[6]
