This is alist of NGC objects 3001–4000from theNew General Catalogue(NGC). Theastronomical catalogueis composed mainly ofstar clusters, nebulae, andgalaxies.Other objects in the catalogue can be found in the other subpages of thelist of NGC objects.
The constellation information in these tables is taken fromThe Complete New General Catalogue and Index Catalogue of Nebulae and Star Clusters by J. L. E. Dreyer,[2]which was accessed using the "VizieR Service".[3]Galaxy types are identified using theNASA/IPAC Extragalactic Database.[4]Other data are from theSIMBAD Astronomical Database[5]unless otherwise stated.
