NGC 4420is anunbarred spiral galaxylocated 77 millionlight-yearsaway in theconstellationVirgo.[1]It is a member of theM61 Groupof galaxies, which is a member of theVirgo II Groups,a series of galaxies andgalaxy clustersstrung out from the southern edge of theVirgo Supercluster.[2]
