NGC 7191is aspiral galaxyregistered in theNew General Catalogue.It is located in the direction of theIndusconstellation. It was discovered by the EnglishastronomerJohn Herschelin 1835 using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) reflector.[2][3][4]It is a member of thegalaxy groupknown as the NGC 7192 group, named after its brightest member,NGC 7192.Other members of the group includeNGC 7179,andNGC 7219.[5][6]
