NGC 7315is alenticular galaxyin the constellation ofPegasus.[2]It was discovered on 11 September 1872 byÉdouard Stephan.[5]It was described as "very faint, extremely small, round, brighter middle" byJohn Louis Emil Dreyer,the compiler of theNew General Catalogue.[5]

SN 2007B,atype Ia supernova,was discovered in NGC 7315 in January 2007.[6]
