Nalongo and Nupaniis a small atoll inTemotu Province,in the independent nation ofSolomon Islands,in the southwesternPacific Ocean.[1]It has a coral reef totally encircling a 6 km wide lagoon.Nupani Island,also calledNimba,is inhabited with some 100 people, whileNalongohas no permanent habitation.[2]
