Nephropoideais asuperfamilyofdecapodcrustaceans.It contains the true lobsters in theNephropidae(including the rarethaumastochelidlobsters), and three fossil families:Chilenophoberidae,ProtastacidaeandStenochiridae.[1]Their closest relatives are thereef lobsters.[1]
