Ngāti Manuhiriis aMāoriiwiof theMahurangi Peninsulaarea ofNew Zealand.They have an interest in the region from theOkura Riverin the south toMangawhaiin the north, and extending out toGreat Barrier Island.[3]They are descended from Manuhiri, one of the sons of Maki, founder of the Te Kawerau iwi.[4]They have a marae nearLeigh.

The iwi is descended from theMoekākaraandTainuiwaka(arrival canoes).[1][2]
