Dominic Gerald Lowery(born May 27, 1956) is a formerAmerican footballkicker.In his career he played for theNew England Patriots,Kansas City Chiefs,andNew York Jets.[1]He played in college atDartmouth College.Lowery was selected to thePro Bowlthree times and when he retired was ranked first in field goal percentage and also had the most field goals in NFL history. As of 2018he was 16th on theNational Football League(NFL)'s list of all-time scoring leaders, and is the Chiefs' all-time leading scorer, with 1,466 points in his 14 seasons with the club.

Lowery grew up inWashington, D.C.,and attendedSt. Albans Schoolwhere he was a star football player.[2]

He attendedDartmouth College.[3]He has an M.P.A fromHarvard'sKennedy School of Government,[3]the first pro athlete to graduate from there.

In 2009 Lowery was inducted into theKansas City ChiefsHall of Fame.[3]
