Nikkō Station(Nhật quang dịch,Nikkō-eki)is arailway stationin the city ofNikkō,Tochigi, Japan, operated by theEast Japan Railway Company(JR East).

Nikkō Station forms the terminus of theNikkō Line,and is located 40.5 kilometers from the opposing terminus of the line atUtsunomiya.

The station consists of two opposedside platforms,connected to the station building by a footbridge. The station has aMidori no Madoguchistaffed ticket office.

History[edit]
Nikkō Station opened on 1 August 1890.[1]With the privatization ofJapanese National Railways(JNR) on 1 April 1987, the station came under the control of JR East.[1]

In fiscal 2019, the station was used by an average of 1046 passengers daily (boarding passengers only).[2]
