Ningjin County(simplified Chinese:Ninh tân huyện;traditional Chinese:Ninh tân huyện;pinyin:Níngjīn Xiàn) is a county in the northwest ofShandongprovince, People's Republic of China, borderingHebeiprovince to the north. It is administered by theprefecture-level cityofDezhou.
The population was 444,038 in 1999.[3]
Ningjin has been famous for itsacrobaticsfrom as early as during theHan dynasty.In 1995 theMinistry of Culturedesignated Ningjin as the hometown of Chinese acrobatics.[4][5]
