Nubanusit Lakeis a 718-acre (2.91 km2)lakelocated on the border betweenCheshireandHillsboroughcounties in southwesternNew Hampshire,United States, in the towns ofNelsonandHancock.The outlet of the lake isNubanusit Brook,atributaryof theContoocook Riverin theMerrimack Riverdrainage basin.

The lake is classified as a coldwater fishery, with observed species includingrainbow trout,lake trout,smallmouth bass,chain pickerel,yellow perch,andhorned pout.[1]
