ThePCT Newsletteris amonthlypublicationof theWorld Intellectual Property Organization(WIPO). It contains "up-to-date news about thePatent Cooperation Treaty(PCT) ",[1]which provides a system for filing international (patent)applications.ThePCT Newsletteris published inEnglishonly. Important changes to the PCT are mentioned and explained in thePCT Newsletter.
The first issue of thePCT Newsletterwas published in March 1994 on a subscription basis.[2][3]Since January 1997, the issues are published online, free of charge.[3]Since January 2008, the PCT Newsletter is available onlyonline,and no longer as a paper publication.[4]
