ThePSR-90(Precision Sniper Rifle) is aPakistanisemi-automatic7.62×51mmprecision rifledesigned and manufactured byPakistan Ordnance Factories.[2]It is used by the Pakistani military's special forces, namely by Army and Navy snipers.

The PSR-90 Sniper rifle is considered a variant of theH&K PSG1.[2]In the words of the manufacturer it has the accuracy of a sniper rifle and the firepower of a machine gun.[1]It has a weight of 8.1 kg[1]with an overall length of 1158 mm.[1]It has aPolygonaly rifledbarrelhaving length of 600 mm[1]with a fully adjustablestock,[1]thebarrelis a four grooves right hand twisted barrel.[1]It issemi-automaticandRoller delayed blowbackoperated.[1]It operates a7.62×51mmcartridge yet can operate.308rounds.[1]It fires bullets with amuzzle velocityof 870 m/s with an effective range of 1000 m,[1]the bullets being fed from a 5 or 20 roundsMagazine.[1]It has an accuracy of 90 mm group at a distance of 300 m.[1]A trigger pull of 1.6 kg can be added optionally.[1]The sniper rifle is generally operated with a 5.5-22×50 NXS sight but a 6×42 telescopic sight can be used instead.[1]ASilencerTelescopic sightand carrying sling can be added or removed optionally.[1]
