Padmaja Raois an Indian actress, television soap director and producer in Karnataka, India.[1][2][3][4][5]She is a versatile actor known for playing a wide variety of character roles in various film genres. Career
[edit]Padmaja Rao started her career with the mega teleserialMoodala Manedirected byVaishali Kasaravalliwhich garnered huge popularity acrossKarnataka.This was followed byPreethi Illada Melemega serial co-starringYashandAnant Nagwhich made her household name yet again. She made her Kannada movie debut withV.Ravichandran'sHatavadi.She subsequently received recognition for her role in the 2006 blockbusterMungaru Male.She was nominated for theFilmfare Award for Best Supporting Actressthree times. She has been a part of more than 100 Kannada films and many serial/soaps in Kannada. She has also worked as TV serial director and Producer.[1]
