Passport Scotch,also calledPassport Blended Scotch Whisky,is a brand ofscotch whiskyproduced by theChivas Brotherssubsidiary ofPernod RicardinScotland.It was first produced bySeagram Distillers, PLC.[1]

According toClassic Blended ScotchbyJim Murray,Passport is a blend of more flavoredhighlandmaltswith lighter and sweetlowlandwhiskies, made at Seagram'sSpeysidedistilleries.[2]The particular blend used in Passport Scotch was first produced in the 1960s by master blender Jimmy Lang, of Seagram's Scottish subsidiaryChivas Brothers,and started being sold in 1965.[3]It sold 1.7 million bottles in 2015, being a strong performer inBrazil(where it is second on theScotch whiskymarket),Portugal,Poland,Spain,MexicoandIndia.[2]
