Paulo Costanzo(born September 21, 1978[1]) is a Canadian actor. He is best known for playing Aximili-Esgarrouth-Isthill (Ax) in the TV seriesAnimorphs,the roles of Rubin Carver in the comedy filmRoad Trip,Alexander Cabot inJosie and the Pussycats,Michael Tribbiani in theNBCsitcomJoey,Evan R. Lawson in theUSA NetworkseriesRoyal Pains,and Lyor Boone in theABCpolitical dramaDesignated Survivor.
Early life
[edit]Costanzo was born inBrampton, Ontario.[1]His mother is a singer-songwriter and his father an artist of Italian descent.[2][3]

In 2004, Costanzo was cast in the role ofJoey Tribbiani's nephew in theFriends'spinoffJoey,which he played over both seasons.
In 2017, he was cast in a series regular role in thesecond seasonofABC'sDesignated SurvivorasWhite Housepolitical director Lyor Boone.[4]
In 2022, Costanzo appeared in the role of Matteo in the second season ofAmazon's comedy seriesUpload.[5]
