Peter John HoreFRSis a Britishchemistand academic. He is a Professor ofChemistryat theUniversity of Oxfordand fellow ofCorpus Christi College, Oxford.[6]He is the author of twoOxford Chemistry Primers(OCP 32 and 92) onNuclear Magnetic Resonance(NMR)[7]and research articles[8][9]primarily in the area of NMR,electron paramagnetic resonance(EPR),spin chemistryandmagnetoreceptionduringbird migration.[10][11][12]

Career and research

Hore was aRoyal Societyresearch fellow at theUniversity of Groningenfrom 1980 to 1982,[13]and a juniorresearch fellowat St John's from 1982 to 1983 before be appointed aFellowand tutor atCorpus Christi College, Oxford.[14]He was elected aFellow of the Royal Society(FRS) in 2022.[15]
