Piaggia(Brigasc dialect:A Ciagia;Ligurian:A Ciàzza) is afrazione—comparable to ahamlet—located in thecomune(municipality) ofBriga Alta,Province of Cuneoin the region ofPiedmont,Italy. It is one of three frazioni that form Briga Alta, alongsideCarninoandUpega.Located near theUpper Tanaro Valleyon the slopes ofMonte Saccarelloin theLigurian Alps,is the southernmost village in Piedmont. It is one of a handful of villages where theBrigasc dialectof theLigurian languageis spoken.[1]
