Pinagongis a densebread rollfrom thePhilippinesmade withall-purpose flour,milk,andsalt.It is a variant ofpan de monja(monáy) distinguished primarily by its shape and the more complex pattern of scoring on top. The name means "made into a turtle", fromTagalogpagong( "turtle" ).[1][2][3][4]
