Playhatch(orPlay Hatch) is ahamletin thecivil parishofEye & DunsdeninSouth Oxfordshire,England,about 2 miles (3.2 km) northeast ofReading, Berkshire.
Overview
[edit]Before 1866, Playhatch formed part of theOxfordshiresection ofSonningcivil parish.[citation needed]Berry Brookstarts close to theRedgrave-Pinsent Rowing Laketo the southwest, running northeast through theRiver Thamesfloodplain past Playhatch, under the B478 Playhatch Road near theSonning Works,before joining the river atHallsmead Ait.
