Princess Maria-Anunciata of Liechtenstein(Maria-Anunciata Astrid Joséphine Veronica;born 12 May 1985) is an art curator and member of thePrincely Family of Liechtenstein.She is the granddaughter ofFranz Joseph II, Prince of Liechtensteinand ofJean, Grand Duke of Luxembourg.

Early life and family[edit]

Princess Maria-Aunciata was born on 12 May 1985 inUccletoPrince Nikolaus of LiechtensteinandPrincess Margaretha of Luxembourg.[1]Her father is the third son ofFranz Joseph IIand the younger brother ofHans-Adam II.Her mother is the daughter ofJean, Grand Duke of LuxembourgandPrincess Joséphine-Charlotte of Belgium.[1]Maria-Anunciata is the sister of Prince Leopold,Princess Marie-Astrid,and Prince Joesf-Emmanuel.[1]

She spent summers of her childhood in Cabasson, a hamlet inVar,Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur,nearÎles d'Hyères.[2]

Career[edit]

Maria-Anunciata works as an art researcher and curator.[2]She curated exhibits for museums and independent projects inParis,Rome,andNew York Cityand was employed by the art publishing houseCahiers d'Art.[2]

In 2016, she assisted in aPablo Picassoretrospective exhibition in Rome, marking the centenary of the artist's trip to Rome andNapleswithJean Cocteauand theBallets Russes.[2]She worked withValentina MoncadaandOlivier Berggruento create the exhibit, which was shown at Scuderie del Quirinale.[3]

Personal life[edit]

Maria-Anuciata married Carlo Emanuele Musini, co-founder and chairman of the American home health-start up Pillo Health, in a civil ceremony on 26 June 2021 at the Villa della Tenuta di Fassia inGubbio,Italy.[1]Their Catholic wedding took place on 4 September 2021 at theSchottenkircheinVienna.[4]She wore theHabsburgfringe tiara and a gown byValentinofor her wedding.[5]The reception was held at theLiechtenstein Garden Palacein Vienna.[5]Maria-Anunciata wore the Luxembourg vine leaves tiara, on loan from her uncle, for the reception.[5]

Many members of theGrand Ducal Family of Luxembourgattended the religious ceremony includingGrand Duke Henri,Grand Duchess Maria Teresa,Hereditary Grand Duke Guillame,Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie,Archduchess Marie-Astrid,Prince Guillame,Prince Jean,Prince Félix,Princess Claire,Prince Louis,Princess Alexandra,andPrince Sébastien.[6][5]Other notable guests includedPrincess Matilde zu Fürstenberg,Beatrice Borromeo,Pierre Casiraghi,Hereditary Princess Ekaterina of Hanover,Princess Christian of Hanover,Hereditary Princess Cleopatra of Oettingen-Spielberg,Princess Mafalda of Hesse,andRolf Sachs.[5]King PhilippeandQueen Mathilde of Belgiumwere supposed to attend, but had to quarantine due to testing positive forCOVID-19.[6]

On 10 January 2023, Maria Anuciata attended thefuneralofConstantine II of Greeceat theMetropolitan Cathedral of Athens.[7]
