Pushkar Sharmais a medical scientist working in the National Institute of Immunology,New Delhi,India.He was awarded theShanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prizefor science and technology, the highest science award in India, for the year 2013 inmedical sciencecategory.[1]Sharma's research interests are in the areas ofgenetics,cell signalling and cancer biology, with special focus on problems connected with dissection of eukaryotic cell signaling pathways.[2][3]

Sharma secured M Sc degree fromBareilly College,Bareilly,Rohilkhand University,Indiaand PhD fromAll India Institute of Medical Sciences,New Delhi.
