Qazi Onik(born 18 March 1999) is a Bangladeshicricketer.[1]A left-arm medium-fast bowler, he made hisTwenty20debut forRajshahi Kingson 29 November 2017 in the2017–18 Bangladesh Premier League.[2]

In December 2017, he was named in Bangladesh's squad for the2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.[3]He was the leading wicket-taker for Bangladesh in the tournament, with 10 wickets.[4]

In February 2018, took his first five-wicket haul inList A cricket,bowling forMohammedan Sporting ClubagainstLegends of Rupganjin the2017–18 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League.[5]He finished the 2017–18 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League as the leading wicket-taker for Mohammedan Sporting Club, with 28 dismissals in 11 matches.[6]

He made hisfirst-classdebut forDhaka Metropolisin the2018–19 National Cricket Leagueon 1 October 2018.[7]Later the same month, he was named in the squad for theDhaka Dynamitesteam, following the draft for the2018–19 Bangladesh Premier League.[8]

In December 2018, he was named in Bangladesh's team for the2018 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup.[9]In November 2019, he failed a dope test during the2019–20 National Cricket League.[10]As a result, he was removed from theplayer's draftfor the2019–20 Bangladesh Premier League.[11]In July 2020, he was given a two-year ban for failing the dope test.[12]
