Quidditism

Inmetaphysics,quidditismis the perspective implied by the belief thatnomologicalroles do notsuperveneoncausalproperties.[1]Quidditism endorses the existence ofquiddities(the existence of "whatness" of properties) and is typically characterized in opposition to causalessentialism.[2]
