Rahul Khanna(born 20 June 1972) is an Indian actor, VJ and writer who works inBollywood.He is the elder son of actorVinod Khannaand the elder brother ofAkshaye Khanna.

Early life and background

Khanna was born and raised inMumbai.His father was a Bollywood star & a politician,Vinod Khanna,his mother was ex-model Gitanjali Taleyar Khanna, and his younger brother is Bollywood actor,Akshaye Khanna.

Khanna studied at theLee Strasberg Theatre Instituteand theSchool of Visual ArtsinNew York City.

He made his feature film debut inDeepa Mehta's1947 Earth(1999), alongsideAamir Khan.His performance earned him several awards including theFilmfare Best Male Debut Award.[1]He has since appeared in Mehta'sBollywood/Hollywood(2003) andWake up SidstarringRanbir KapoorandKonkana Sen Sharma.
