Redbridge Community Schoolis a mixedsecondary schoolin westSouthampton,Hampshire,in the south of England.[2]
The school previously held specialist school status as asports college.[citation needed]Today it is afoundation schooladministered bySouthampton City Council[3][4]and the Reach Cooperative Trust.[5][6]
School performance and inspection[edit]
In inspections byOftsedin 2005, 2008 and 2013, the school was judged outstanding.[7][8][9]However, Ofsted judged the school required improvement during an inspection in 2016.[10]During inspections by Ofsted in 2018 and 2023, the school was judged good.[11][2]
In 2016, Redbridge was one of five schools in Hampshire which fell below the government's target to ensure students achieved five goodGCSEgrades alongside sufficient progress in English and Maths.[12]
