Rex L. Mirich(born March 11, 1941) is an American former professionalfootballplayer who was adefensive linemanin theAmerican Football League(AFL) and theNational Football League(NFL). After playingcollege footballforNorthern Arizona,Mirich was selected by both the AFL and the NFL in 1963. He was selected by theMinnesota Vikingsin the 16th round (212th overall) of the1963 NFL draftand by theOakland Raidersin the 20th round (153rd overall) of the1963 AFL Draft.He played seven seasons for the AFL'sOakland Raiders(1964–1966) andDenver Broncos(1967–1969), and the NFL'sBoston Patriots(1970).[1]

In 2012, he was inducted into theCollege Football Hall of Fame.
